About Woodman New ZealandWoodman New Zealand began a small operation back in October 2000 manufacturing a range of New Zealand Native timber chopping boards and small corporate gift items. We have progressed into one of New Zealand's leading small goods manufacturers along with a full array of domestic furniture from Dining Tables to Butchers Blocks and buffets for the kitchen, to library style bookcases, solid timber bench tops and virtually everything made to order in between! We specialise in New Zealand Native timbers such as Rimu, Matai, Kauri and Totara with the vast majority of these species being re-cycled timbers from old houses and commercial buildings. Our chopping boards and food related products are made from sustainable resource Virgin Timbers. We also have access to a large index of exotic and international timbers for our furniture manufacturing such as the American Oak and Ash species, Tasmanian Ash, Western Australian Jarrah, Kwilla from Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, Salu Salu and Yakka from Fiji and the list goes on! Woodman New Zealand's range now extends to our commercial division which caters predominantly to the Hospitality trade. Our capabilities reach to full front to back, top to bottom fit outs of Bars, Restaurants, Cafes, Hotels and Motels including front of house, bedroom furniture and kitchen facilities as well as commercial kitchens and Laundries. Restaurant, Bar and Cafe furniture is our specialty from Tables to Bars to Upholstered Booth Seats to Reception Counters.
